Even in the very last race of this championship season David Vršecký could not be bored. He ranked fourth in the handicap race and immediately after the finish he began to prepare celebrations of the champion title.
The second ranking in the Sunday opening cup race at the Jarama track belonged to David Vršecký. The only defeater of the past and present European Champion was Antonio Albacete!
Not the slightest hint of a drama was allowed by David Vršecký in the handicap race and so he became, after his “discoverer” Martin Koloc, the second Czech trucker in history who managed to defend the European Champion title!
David Vršecký won the opening cup race in Jarama, Spain. And as his only rival in the struggle for the champion title Antonio Albacete did not finish the race, the Roudnice trucker ´s advantage now amounts to thirty points!
Never since 2002 the leader of the championship lost the title in the last race of the season. The Buggyra International Racing System team and mainly David Vršecký believe that this tradition will continue after the Jarama weekend.
Although the last race of this season will be held on the hot ground of Jarama this weekend, the current leader of the championship believes in its fair progress.
