The leader of the last truck championship, the team of Buggyra International Racing System, gets ready for the second testing for the new season. Following the test at Nogaro, France, the new racing special will be tested at the domestic racing track at Most for the 2008 season tomorrow.
Unlike Nogaro, this testing will only feature David Vršecký as the driver. "I and Markus are in daily contact. We have agreed that it is no use for him to come to the Czech Republic for a single testing day," said Mario Kress, technical director of the team, who does not even mind the substantial difference between the Nogaro and the Most tracks. "On the contrary. The combination is ideal. While Nogaro to a considerable extent simulated Albacete or Jarama, at Most we will try the truck function on a technically less demanding but quicker track, reminding of Barcelona or Misano for a change."
As this year ´s championship only starts in mid May, the races will quickly follow one after another and the to-date traditional summer break between Nurburgring and Most will be filled out by a race in Donington, Britain. That is why the testing before the beginning of the season must be much more extensive than in the previous years. "In the past we could test in the course of the season, after Barcelona and before Most. This year the situation is different, leaving no space for the truck adaptations related to testing while the racing season is in progress. We will in fact need to cover the whole championship with the truck prepared before the season starts. "
