Successful Testing in Most

The second testing in 2008 was quite dramatic but eventually successful for the Buggyra International Racing System team. The drama was no fault of the driver, or the technology, but the typically unpredictable Czech weather was to blame this time.
Views of the surroundings of the Most track suggested coming snow. And as every racing driver will certainly confirm, there are much more pleasant things than snow on the racing track. "David entered every testing round with the idea in mind that it might be the last one. The weather permitted completion of the course in the end and so we made use of the whole testing day to the full," said Mario Kress, technical director of Buggyra, at the end of the testing day with an audible relief in his intonation.
As we have already informed, unlike Nogaro, this testing session was only attended by a single driver, David Vršecký. Like in France, the testing was based on confrontation of the results of last and this year ´s racing specials. And despite the fact that the new truck is in the stage of finding its reserves, David was satisfied with the overall result. "We primarily focused on testing the chassis, and set off for Most with a belief that we would probably come across things remaining hidden so far due to the nature of the Nogaro ring. And so it happened," confirmed David, adding that the new truck underwent several settings and each performed better than last year ´s champion special. "We discovered a couple of minor drawbacks, but that is what testing is all about. The truck works very well, but there are some reserves still. Anyway, we know how to continue with our work in future. I am already looking forward to the next testing session."
