Very successful performance was offered in today ´s ten-round qualifying race at the Catalonia track by the drivers of the Buggyra International Racing System. The victory was enjoyed by David Vršecký, who thus moved to the first position in the overall classification. Markus Bosiger ended second.
The progress of the race was affected by two important events. The first was the start, where the quickest man of the time practice David Vršecký easily fought off the attack by Antonio Albacete and took the lead. "It began to rain before the start. As we did not use the wet tires, I was a little startled, but everything worked well nevertheless," said David after the race. Markus held third position from the start. "It was no point to risk, my tactics was based on patient waiting for Antonio ´s mistake."
Four rounds before the finish the latter of the two important events happened. Antonio Albacete forgot all about tactics and began his duel with David Vršecký. In a couple of seconds the rule saying that where two fight the third laughs was materialized. The third in this case was Markus Bosiger. "Antonio unexpectedly left some free space to me and I made immediate use of it. It was a hard struggle within the limits of fair play," said Markus, who even tried to attack David in the last round. "Unfortunately, David did not make a mistake. I will see what the situation will be in the cup race."
