David Vršecký´s triumph in the Sunday cup race in Barcelona was David ´s tenth cup race victory in the Race Truck class, making him the most successful collector of race truck victories of the Buggyra team. The second position is held by Gerd Koerber with his nine victories, while Markus Bosiger has rejoiced seven times.
To keep the information objective it needs to be mentioned, though, that the Swiss driver only needed a single season to win the seven cups, while David has been member of the Buggyra International Racing System team for the longest time of the three racing drivers. Another interesting fact is that the only country where our driver has not yet managed to win is the Czech Republic. "When I consulted the statistics I was surprised to find out that I scored four victories in Barcelona and two in Albacete. Spain therefore has been my promised land, surprisingly. In this respect the only more successful driver has been Antonio, who obviously can make use of the advantage of the really domestic environment in Jarama," commented David Vršecký on his Spanish balance. "In Most I have ended second for four times and I firmly believe that I will manage to win in the end. I waited for my success in Misano for a very long time, for that matter, and eventually I succeeded. I hope my domestic success will come soon. Ideally this year."
