Exceptional performance has been delivered in the past few days by the mechanics of the Buggyra International Racing System. Despite the two-day loss caused by the delayed arrival from Albacete they set off for the fourth race venue of this year ´s European Truck Championship, Nogaro, France, at 7:30 a.m. today.
"I would like to express my sincere thanks to the boys in this way, they have performed excellently," confirmed Petr Marek, the head of logistics, after a similarly hectic week on his side. "When I learned that Dvid would present two show rides at the Piešťany Truckfest, I was much startled. I watched my cell phone all weekend waiting for a message that something would need to be repaired on the truck at the last moment."
However, this was not the case eventually and the mechanics reached the Roudnice Buggyra Technology Centre at 1:15 a.m. today. The backup team performed the basic maintenance of both racing special overnight. The mechanics came after six and set off for Nogaro after breakfast. "Regarding the situation on the European motorways these days I do not dare to guess anything. The scheduled arrival at Nogaro, however, is in the course of Wednesday," confirmed Marek in the end.
