Janík Fought with Technology!

A little overshadowed with the truck racing stars Markus Bosiger and David Vršecký there is another racing driver of the Buggyra International Racing System team, Václav Janík. The successful driver at the European Championship introduced himself at Dobšiná, Slovakia, last weekend.
The local, exceptionally quick track was the venue of another event of the International Championship of the Czech Republic in Up Hill Racing. "The track at Dobšiná is extremely quick, dominated with a kilometer and a half of straight. The straight is driven at speeds around 230 km/hr, and the mean speed of the track is 130 km/hr," explained Janík, who started in the race with a BMW 320 JSP. This vehicle has been known to the motor fans especially from the World Travel Car Championship WTCC. More than with the rivals Václav Janík had to fight with technical problems, though. "While the car works, it is a perfect ride. Unfortunately, after a while the engine does not yield full output any more. That makes fight with the competitors very hard then. The permanent top driver of the absolute ranking, Plas, has a Formula 1 aggregate in his BMW. We will have to work on elimination of this drawback," said Janík, ending fifth and sixth. Already this weekend he will take part in another up hill race of the European Championship in Trento Bondone, Italy. There he will be wearing the colors of the friendly Nutrend Racing Team.
