The racing special of the current leader of the European Truck Racing Championship David Vršecký exhibited on the occasion of the Junior World Championship in Water Slalom held in Roudnice last weekend was one of the greatest attractions for the spectators and participants to the event.
One of those who, in addition to watching of the dramatic water races, also found time to take a profound look at the gemstone of the Roudnice Buggyra Technology Centre, was also the Czech yachtsman and Olympic contestant Michal Mayer. And he abounded with words of praise. "Once upon a time I and David teased each other. I said that if he managed to control my yacht I would drive one "live" round in his Buggyra. After a while spent in the cab I must say to myself that my task would be far from easy," confirmed our successful yachtsman, who will probably appear in the Buggyra V.I.P. Hospitality in Most after years. "It is true. I actually plan to visit Most. I always raced in late August but this year the situation is different. I am looking forward to the roar of the trucks. Water is beautiful, but silent. And the silence may become boring sometimes."
