After the Nurburgring weekend the number of doubles achieved by the drivers of the Buggyra International Racing System team in the individual events of the European Truck Racing Championship 2008 reached eight. The most successful event for the Buggyras so far from this point of view has been the Catalonia track in Barcelona.
Vršecký and Koeber had to wait for their first double for the whole season. In 2005 the team did not score a double victory in any of the races. Buggyra enjoyed the first double in the history of the previous pair of drivers in the opening race of the 2006 season, when on Saturday Vršecký beat Koerber. David repeated his Barcelona triumphs in the following two seasons, with two differences: he won the Sunday races and was accompanied to the rostrum not by Koerber but by Markus Boesiger. The triple European Champion Koerber (twice with Buggyra) as the winner of a cup race contributed to a double only once, in 2006 at the Nurburgring.
The most successful driver in this respect certainly has been Markus Boesiger, who as the overall winner of the race contributed to a double of Buggyras with Vršecký in four races.
