The pair of truckers of the Buggyra International Racing System team, David Vršecký – Markus Bösiger, reduced the rest of the starting field to the role of film extras. After four second rankings David enjoyed his first Most victory, increasing his overall championship leadership to 26 score points. Markus Bösiger ended second.
Like in the case of the qualifying race the result of the cup race was decided immediately after start. Vršecký managed the best start, followed by Bösiger. "I trusted myself a lot, and my start was absolute. Markus adopted a penetrative style, but realized in time that I was quicker," said the happy Vršecký after the race. Vršecký did not let anybody in front of him throughout the race and added the full 30 points to his account. "For a lay viewer my victory might seem simple, but the opposite was the truth." Markus Bösiger was stuck to me all the way, suggesting an attack in the final round. "I noted everything. Markus needed the points and so I knew that I needed to keep full concentration for the whole time. Today was excellent, now I need to prepare for Sunday."
Markus Bösiger did his best, but in his own words, David Vršecký was undefeatable today. "I must congratulate David, he drove fantastically. The results of the races were decided by the time practive. Something to think about for future."
