The fact that not only truck racing is how the drivers of the Buggyra International Racing System team earn their living was manifested over the Most weekend, so successful for the Buggyra brand, to the hundreds of visitors visiting the Buggyra V.I.P. Hospitality Centre, the venue of an auction of truck keepsake of David Vršecký and the Buggyra team!
The proceeds of the auction, for the two days together amounting to nearly CZK 100,000, were donated to the account of the Social Care Home for Mentally Ill Children at Liběšice. "I have never has the slightest problem with charity and I only welcome ideas like this," confirmed the hero of the Most weekend David Vršecký. The words of the leader of the interim overall ranking were underlined by the fact that he did not hesitate to donate to the auction two real gems of his private collection – his helmet and his overalls in which he broke the race truck world speed record in Dubai in February 2004. "I must say it was with some hesitation, you do not break world records every day, you know, but eventually I decided to contribute to a good cause. When I could see the pleasure of the headmistress of the children ´s home, Mr. Marie Kebrtová, I definitely lost my mild annoyance over the loss of the two valuables."
The team manager Jan kalivoda was also fully satisfied with the progress of the auction. "A similar event is prepared for next year too. Last year we celebrated winning of the champion titles in the individual as well as team categories. This year we have been riding a similarly victorious wave. There will be plenty of valuables to auction next year, I think."
