One of the guests of the Buggyra International Racing System team was also one of the spiritual fathers and the very first Buggyra driver Gerd Körber. The triple champion of the Old Continent (twice with Buggyra), who celebrated seventeen cup race victories in the cab of the Czech racing special in the years 2001 – 2006, showed in the break between the Sunday events that he has not forgotten any of his undoubted art!
By a dramatic ride along the track Gerd reminded of his unforgettable performances in the services of Buggyra. "I love Most. Even though I only won once with Buggyra here in the Super Race Truck class in 2003," remembered the German champion, refusing to comment on his possible comeback. "I do not like hasty conclusions and I prefer surprise. So we will see."
Both current drivers of Buggyra would welcome Gerd´s return to truck racing. "For the first time he paused in 2004 and in the immediately following season he managed to win six races in the Race Truck class.. Truckers of his qualities to not forget their art of racing," said David Vršecký. Virtually the same was the opinion of Markus Bösiger, the winner of the third champion title for Buggyra after the two Gerd´s. "Let him return! In Most he looked quite refreshed and ready. I envied him for a while."
Gerd´s potential comeback was also favored by the editor of the Truck Racing Magazine Mrs. Zuzana Fonténová. "From the journalist point of view Gerd is an excellent object. An elite driver and a perfect showman, able to release his emotions. What more can a journalist wish!"
