Seventh Dubai Motorshow Opens

This morning, gates of the exhibition complex "World Trade Center" opened and the 7th Middle East International Motorshow in Dubai has been ceremonially kicked-off. More than five million enthusiastic fans of fast vehicles are expected to visit this motor show, which is held from December 11 to December 16.

It is a big menu, from which one can choose; although not a single exhibiting motor works presents any dernier cri. It is given by the business plan, which is accommodating local specific requirements and possibilities of potential customers. A typical local client would appreciate rather luxurious, time-proved models with positive references, where the price makes no excessive difference. Petrol engines are exclusively in, thanks to low prices of petrol fuel (approximately CZK 7 per one liter of petrol, based on today’s currency conversion). Our team introduced itself on the first day of the exhibition with a complete crew. Even both newcomers were not missing – pilot David Vršecký, and chief designer Mário Kress, who willingly answered questions of visitors. It was really nice to see the great interest of visitors being excited by our exposition, which is really small, compared to other giants.

Shortly after the launch, Jan Riegert, a commercial counselor from the Czech embassy in Dubai, dropped in as the first visitor of our exhibition stand. The exhibition has been officially launched by members of the royalty together with numerous delegations of top representatives of Dubai. Riegert even took a look round the exhibits displayed in our stand, and had a talk with Martin Koloc. We were delighted that he dedicated his precious time to visit our stand, where he spend the same time as in case of, for instance, much larger exposition of Toyota. A great show was the press conference, where the model Mercedes AMG was unveiled by Jean Alesi, a well-known Formula One pilot.
