Yesterday at 9pm the Buggyra power show launched for the first time of Dubai Shopping Festival and attracted everybody´s attention. About one thousand of spectators along the Muraqqabat road in center of Dubai, had the unique opportunity to see both Buggyra racing specials accelerating and proving their power on their own. David Vrsecky, the third best driver in Europe, was performing his "Buggyras" for an hour and didn’t let anybody to doubt about his skills. Mr. Martin Koloc took Gerd Körber’s racing special from the last year and drove one symbolic welcome lap with it.

With respectable and exact safeness of Dubai police, the Super Trucks were able to reach on 300 meters of Muraqqabat road, determinated for acceleration only, the speed of 160km/h. The first day of Buggyra racing show was dedicated to the V.I.P. persons, who had the opportunity to become a co-driver and experience the right feeling of the power.

After the Finance manager of Dubai Shopping Festival, Marwan Al Sarkal took his ride in David Vrsecky’s truck, he was only able to replay the question about his feeling with one word, but on the other hand very emotionally: "fantastic!!"

Ing. Roman Leszczynski, the Czech ambassador in U.A.E., who arrived from Abu Dhabi to support the Super Truck racing show from the Czech republic, was pretty excited as well. The old gentleman explained his feelings not so intensive, but even though the result was very similar. "It was an honor to have such person in my truck. First I was really nervous, because of such responsibility, but luckily nothing happened." commented with a smile on his face David Vrsecky.

During one hour of Buggyra power show, the duty officer of Dubai police, Khalifa Al-Awazi, Regional director of Czech airlines, Jakub Kolar, corporate coordinator of Buggyra team, Karel Zeman have switched in the co-driving positions as well and have extended the list of V.I.P. co-drivers for that day. Next Tuesday not only the V.I.P. people will have such an opportunity. This time the selected ones of the crowed will have the chance to have the same experience...

The first active presentation of both Buggyra racing specials, which are reaching the peak of technology level all over the world, attracted not only the Dubai Shopping Festival visitors, but also many media representatives from leading TV, newspaper or radio companies. They all took the chance to put David and Martin different questions after having parked their "heavy weight monsters" back to the Super Truck Zone.

So the first step has been already behind and few more are still waiting as same as the main target, the World Speed Record Challenge that will take place on February 12, 2004. Since yesterday, every Tuesday the visitors of Dubai Shopping Festival will have the unique opportunity to see the high technology performance presented by Buggyra racing specials driven by no less experienced drivers, such Mr. Martin Koloc and David Vrsecky definitely are...
