The telemetry records, by means of sensing elements, all and any important characteristics of a vehicle and pilot's driving style. The DAS 4 System scans (monitors) at one time as many as 127 channels (velocity of vehicle, speed/rpm of engine, temperature of brakes, suspension, oil pressure, etc.).
The biggest contribution, when using the telemetry is, in the first place, that a pilot has a possibility to learn from his own mistakes. Retroactively, we are able, by means of such telemetry, to analyze whatsoever situation on tracks, and thereby a pilot can proactively improve his driving style.
Secondly, it is possible to monitor a vehicle in respect of technical conditions. It means that we are able, thanks to the telemetry, to identify and correct any pertinent failure in a better and faster manner. Thanks to information gained, it is possible to adapt a vehicle to driver's needs in a better manner, but also to tune a vehicle according to conditions prevailing on a given race track.
After each race, after each practice, but also after tests, the data gained are carefully processed and results obtained from the telemetry are then decisive for other preparations of both a vehicle and a pilot.
