In the second half of the last week, the team took its Can-Am buggies to Milovice, Czech Republic for some testing ahead of Dakar. But as the team owner Martin Koloc also pointed out, it marked the beginning of preparations of his daughters for Dakar Rally.

The team’s management is now planning to enter both girls in 2023 when the twins will be 18 years old. At the moment, it is Yasmeen who has more experience with the most famous rally in the world. In January, she interviewed big stars like a current Cars category winner Carlos Sainz or a 3-time-winner and a bronze medalist from Olympic Games in shooting Nasser Al-Attiyah.

“Both girls told me that they want to race. Our main partners have no problems with that, so why not give it a shot,” said Martin Koloc, who also added that the preparations definitely will not take away their ambitions from circuit racing.

“In these times, it’s difficult to plan anything in advance. However, the girls should do a practice camp in a desert in Qatar this December.

Right now, it is not clear in which categories should the youngest-ever Dakar Rally competitors start. While the most logical option would be the Side-by-Side category (UTV), in the end it could be the Truck or T1 category.

“We have presently structure very comprehensive training program from now until January 2023 across the best training terrains in Europe, UAE, South Africa and Morocco.“ added Martin Koloc.
