Four-time Dakar Rally participant

Martin Soltys made his premiere in Tatra Phoenix at 2017 Hungarian Baja, where he managed to win the first prologue. However, due to serious back injury he had to withdraw from the race. He then was challenged by his premiere participation in the most famous rally Dakar in January 2018. After 14 stages he finished the race on12th position overall in the truck category. He was forced to withdraw from the race after Stage 7 in 2019, but in 2020 it ranked 11th overall. In 2021 he completed his fourth start at the famous Dakar and finally, according to his words, managed to finish it in the top ten.
