Buggyra Racing will be racing at Grobnik this weekend
After races at Hungaroring, Slovakiaring and Poznan, the prestigious ESET Cup moves to Grobnik, Croatia. The trio of Aliyyah and Yasmeen Koloc, plus David Vršecký, are looking to build on previous successful performances.
Yasmeen will be driving "her" Renault Clio special and memories of last year's debut, when she flew the formula off the track, certainly do not bother the young racer. "If they hadn't reminded me of it, I wouldn't have known. Anyway, it was an original entry into the world of racing," she says with a laugh. "I can't compare that much, but I like the circuit, so I hope to have a nice race and bring back some trophies."
David and Aliyyah will then check out the new Mercedes - the AMG GT4. It is an excellent machine for the Buggyra Academy drivers, who are more lenient towards young drivers," explains David, who will be driving sprints and an endurance race with his charge. "We have data from last year, we tested lightly on the simulator. We're going to have a nice ride and, if possible, win."
Aliyyah then doesn't address the fact that she is slowly becoming the world's busiest female pilot in 2021. "I find it funny when people keep asking if I'm tired and enjoying racing? So it's true that my circuits are starting to kind of blend into one, but anyway, thanks for every new race."
