Two-front war at the weekend
SuperTrofeo drivers will race at the legendary Nürburgring, while Makeš is going to compete in front of a home crowd.
It’s been almost a month since the opening round of the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo season at Misano, Italy. And the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra drivers are now preparing for their next mission. The next two races of the season take place at the legendary Nürburgring, which is going to offer more than 30 entrants. “We’re heading to Nürburgring empowered by Kurt Wagner’s great results at Slovakia Ring. All drivers and both cars are in the perfect shape, so I believe that both crews can achieve good results,“ says the team manager Jiří Mičánek jr. ahead of the upcoming race weekend.
“I believe that Jakub Knoll with Broněk Formánek are going to confirm their qualities and they’ll be fighting for a TOP 10 finish. Libor Dvořáček and Kurt Wagner want to continue in their form from Misano, where they finished on the podium. They have a great pace this year, that shows they belong to the best crews in their class,” adds Jiří Mičánek.
On the other hand, a team junior Michal Makeš is preparing for 5th and 6th race of the TCR Eastern Europe season, which is heading to Masaryk Circuit at Brno this weekend. “Michal Makeš is still capable of fighting for the TOP3 result in the standings. But it won’t be easy, because the competition is very strong and very competitive. However, it’s going to be a home race for Michal and that should be an advantage for him,” finishes Jiří Mičánek.
