After the first race in Nogaro the originally sixth ranking David Vršecký was eventually penalised with thirty seconds, as the jury found him culpable for the collision with Markus Bösiger. David, who thus dropped from the sixth to the twelfth rank, accepted the decision but did not identify himself with it.
"I am not glad that Adam and Markus did not finish the race, for I was the one who had to pay for that. I certainly do not feel guilty. I left enough place to Adam, but I think he did not correctly assess his speed. Pity I lost my points and dropped at the starting grid. But I will fight!."
